2011 has been nothing short of amazing for me, in every aspect of my life. I have been blessed with so much this year that I am left in awe thinking of the year that was.
First and foremost, my family. I have watched my beautiful baby grow into the most amazing, funny, talented gorgeous girl as she begun her school journey with kindy this year. She has blossomed into such a unique character that every day I feel honoured to be her Mummy. This year also gave us our much loved little bundle, due in March 2012. As some of you may know this little boy has been very long awaited for us, but he is finally here, growing perfectly. We cannot wait to meet our precious boy.
My clients. I have met so many extraordinary people this year! It really does warm my heart to think back to all of the faces I’ve met and all of the new lives I’ve had come through my doors. So a BIG thank you from me to all of you who have given me the privilege of witnessing the early moments in your family’s lives. It really is something I hold close to my heart.
This year has been EA’s busiest yet and I can’t wait to see how it grows and evolves from here! I’ll leave you with a this, a reminder of the amazing year gone by for Evoke Art Photography…

Just a little note to let you know the studio is now closed while I am on maternity leave. I will be returning to work in August so I will be taking bookings throughout my maternity leave for babies due from August onward.

A few years ago I photographed a gorgeous couple who came to me to capture their love and their friendship. This morning I met with them again, but this time to capture a new part of their relationship, their beautiful 7 day old baby girl Ella. It was so wonderful to finally meet Ella! Knowing the wonderful family she has been born into, I’m sure she has an amazing future ahead.

I finally got to meet beautiful 8 day old Bray on Tuesday, after waiting with great excitement for his arrival. I photographed his wonderful parents a little while back for their maternity session, and their anticipation and joy for this little guy was just overwhelming. Now that he’s here it was just amazing to be able to witness how much they love and care for him.

Earlier this week I photographed Christine and Paul, as they await the arrival of their first, precious baby. This beautiful couple has been through more than their fair share of difficult times in their journey to bring a new life into this world, making their session more than a celebration of their much awaited little babe, but also a celebration of their love and their dreams. It was such an honour for me to be able to witness this.
